This Roji tetsu kyusu is about 5" in diameter minus spot and 3" high minus lid and handle. It has the Roji mark and is apparently unused as it still has the paper label under the lid. Note the lack of a vent hole in the lid. Not common on kyusu.

I really didn't need this pot and also very poor at this time of the month but the seller made me a deal and I really like Roji cast iron. I also have never seen a dragonfly themed pot by Roji and was very impressed with their take on a classic design. It is very much more detailed than most other makers' pots as well as in much deeper relief. Roji is typically not imported into the U.S. but I think that a few companies, Kotobuki, Teavana, etc., may have done so in the 1990s. Their stuff is very high quality. As a rule, I am no longer adding pots or kettles to my collection except when I find something special. Sigh.

I am a bit disappointed in the finish as there are some file marks around the circumference of the pot which I have not seen on a Roji pot before. There is also some scuffing to the bottom, so it probably once sat on a cast iron trivet. It was probably used as a decoration.

Seller's images. I will replace with mine when it comes and also get a weight. Guessing this is about an 8 ounce pot, so two small cups of tea.
