Hi all today I picked up this painting, it is signed Burnett but which Burnett it doesn’t say, I have searched the net but can’t find the exact same, could this be fake?

Why search the net, last place I would search for art. Its kind of like the work of a famous artist who paints and there is a very tiny hole in the painting he puts as the point of view. His name is not the same and he is much more famous. This one is copying the style but there is not enough interest on the street, no lights, no carriages and few people in a fake style setting.

I also have a Burnett and after some research I came across an article written by a collector who believes they are actually Chinese knock offs made to look like expensive mid century paintings.
I believe they are still hand painted, but not by anyone famous.
