This 1 1-2" silvertone brooch has a floral design with oval rhinestone "flowers" and green leaves accented with small white rhinestones and baguettes in a circular shape. By designer Alfred Philippe for Trifari ca the 1950s, with pat pend mark on back

My favorite brooch of yours this week! The summery flowers are beautiful and so fitting for this time of year( finally things are warming up!)
We also have lots of wildflowers coming out and looking so bright and cheerful

Searching I'm delighted to show you a Trifari Philippe you've not seen before, it is always a joy to find a brooch by this most talented designer and I love this delicately framed floral design. I'm so happy this is your favorite upload of mine this week Lauren, the flowers in bloom all around us were certainly inspiring to me! We're finally getting warmer here too but it's been a slow cool Spring, very rainy/windy & not conducive to the local beach boardwalking we enjoy around this time. Thank you for your fabulous praise
Thanks so much Scott for your super compliment, I love the flower colors here as well - if only they had tulip shaped rhinestones wouldn't that be cool; you can use your imagination what sort of flower these were meant to be
MrsT thank you for your lovely comment and agree this brooch really epitomizes Spring...I have a couple mauve hibiscus bushes (perennials, not the gorgeous colors of the tropical variety) that are blooming, and the many wildflowers like forsythia and honeysuckle are coming along nicely. Goodbye cold winter I won't miss you!
