Here is a 4"H pink glass butterfly designed by Jon Saffell for Fenton in the late 1990s. The color is Empress Rose, item #5271, with Fenton logo imprint on glass lower (R) side seen in pic #4

Beautiful- the wings are so translucent and soft looking like actual butterfly wings.... Very delicate and very veiny like real insect wings but with the colour, it's very fairy like

Thank you B for your wonderful compliments, it is a nice butterfly pose from Fenton, they had made others prior that were plainer with flat wings, but this one has a delicate realism. The gradient pink color is pretty cool too

Thank you Lauren for your always fabulous compliments and super perception, you are so right the wings are the star here - translucent & veiny as the real butterfly has, they have such a short life but awe us with their delicate transitory beauty. Isn't it interesting how Fenton seemed to carry the soft veiny look down to the base to enhance their butterfly's beauty even more. It is a gorgeous fairytale pink :)
