Took a ride in this car about a month or so ago. It was built by the Soo Line back in 1927. It is an observation car or in this case a business car. It is a self contained car with everything needed for a voyage by train. It had its own kitchen, ding rooms, bedrooms with baths and parlor. No need to deal with the riff raff on the rest of the train. As can be seen by the photos it is quite luxurious. And yes I should have taken a photo of something other than the fan in the parlor. Photo #3 shows the sink in one of the suites. Even that is nice. The bedrooms are a bit small but there is only so much room in a train car. Last is the dining room with the Soo Line china. These are original to the car which still rides smooth as glass. Just 5 more years and the car becomes an official antique.

That's a very beautiful and luxurious railcar! I've never had the opportunity to ride on a train. Still on my bucket list.
