Vintage Barbie items were of high quality similar to GI Joe. Come to think of it as these are the same scale and predate GI Joe it is possible these were the inspiration for GI Joe. But on to Allen.
Allen was made for only one year which is 1963. What is rare is to find one with a complete outfit especially the shoes. Allen is looking pretty sharp here but the outfit is from 4 different sets. The jacket is from Dreamboat, the shirt from Going Bowling, the pants from Saturday Date and the shoes from Casuals. Looks like a hipster put this set together. Those 2 tone shoes are pretty sharp.
