      The subject is Japanese. The woman in the middle is wearing a Kimono.

      There was a surprisingly active group of very good talented Japanese watercolorists who were active from the 1910s through the beginning of WWII. I have paintings by several of them. This is one of that bunch.

      There was a fellow who specialized in collecting and documenting their work and what information he could find about them who had a web site devoted to them. I have not looked at it for several years. I will see if I can find it and post the link. I will also post some of my paintings but it will be a few days before I can do so.
