This lamp is about 16" high minus hardware and about 7" in diameter. The base appears to be either bakelite or a plastic imitation. There is a label on the back extolling the virtues of high fired, hand cast porcelain which may be true as the lamp has some age to it but is in perfect shape. It appears to have the original hardware but a USA made replacement shade. The socket is made in USA by Mercury and the plug says Triboro (G or 6) on it. Decorated on three sides with was looks to be a crane in vegetation. Guessing this is a USA made lamp maybe dating to the 1960s-1980s? No maker marks visible.

I did find something similar but the seller thinks it is Asian. I do not.

The cord on my lamp goes down the middle of the body and out the bottom. The cord goes out the side of the vase in the link. Other than that the two are very similar. After some cogitation, I think that the lamp in the chairish link has been modified. The hole for the cord near the base has sharp edges so was probably drilled after the original base was broken. The bottom of the lamp is a very small diameter and would, I think, be quite an unstable platform for balancing the lamp as it is very top heavy. The felt pad was probably also a later addition.
