      not Vaseline glass however; possibly contains uranium if it glows

      That is the exact "pie plate". Thanks for the info. I thought it was a trivet! Oh well, I suppose it could be used as one!!!

      I have not put it under a black lite yet!

      Yes It will glow.These are quite common and every one I've seen is uranium glass.

      So... do you have to put it under a light? heat it? or does it just glow at night? I want to see it!!! Thanks for the info

      All you have to do is put it under a normal poster blacklight.They have them at Walmart really cheap.

      There are a lot of uranium glass items on this site to give you an idea of what it will look like.These sunflower cake plates pop very nicely.It also compliments the design very nicely.

      Thanks again!! I am going to pick up a black light tomorrow to see what you are talking about. I am glad I didn't bring the plate to the Goodwill store. I am curious to see it light.

      Hahaha!! I wish you could come clean out the house as well Goodoody!! It just so happens that I transferred some of the stuff from the barn and the estates to my house and now I am moving!! I have a lot things stored in the attic and I am becoming overwhelmed. I forgot I had all of this!
