There has been a big influx of Sherman to CW the past year so I try very hard not to duplicate others' choices, but he made such amazing jewelry I'm always looking. This is a sweet one isn't it, I love the colors too and like that the AB navettes don't overpower the pretty round rhinestones around the border

Even in the simplest style, Sherman managed to create with complex styling. The wreath is stunning with the marquis stones creating the framework for the design and the stacked rounds in varying sizes are magic. Love your brooch and the colour that will be easy to wear with everything.
Dawn thank you so much for your lovely praise/love for this Sherman brooch, it means alot coming from you with your magnificent Sherman collection. It was a great day when you joined CW and showed us all such elegant Sherman beauties, I try to add a piece now & then but (contrary to what a lady said here in an article recently) the cost for Sherman jewels in the US is consistently very high, so when I see the gorgeous bracelets, necklaces & complete sets here I'm just bowled over. Yes this brooch is a magical design & while the stone colors lean toward autumnal it's so sparkly bright it can be worn year round. All I can say about Sherman pieces is they're dazzling!
BTW, I think it's fine if there's a little "duplication" of similar Sherman brooches on Collectors Weekly. Many newer members may never have seen the older posts, and anyway your photos will be different and will show off the pieces differently!
So I say go for it ;)
Hi rhineisfine, I'm really sorry that I didn't notice your nice comment yesterday, I've been a member so long they no longer send me comment notifications so although I try to scan back looking there are many that I miss, sometimes for months!! You're right of course, if something hasn't been posted recently there are many in the CW 'archives' that perhaps people haven't seen and are deserving of a fresh look. Good advice, thank you!
