My father gave this clock to my son. We are trying to identify it. The writing on the face is a little faded. It is Ansonia. The whole clock swings with the pendulum. We may be in need of finding replacement parts as it does not work for longer than a few minutes.

I cannot find the model name . Most likely the clock doesnot need replacement parts , it just needs overhaul . Disassemble , clean , polish , and lubricate . Those clocks are sensitive to dirt and lack of lube .

Thanks. Does anyone know where to look for a model name/number? We have not taken any of it apart yet.

The model is Mahogany No. 2 . Don't take your clock apart and spray it with WD40 . It makes a goopy mess .

Thanks. Now googling it, I see it is called a "swing clock". this helps. We will be very careful with the clock. We're wanting to learn more about restoring the clocks to original working order.
