It reminds me somewhat of a cat mask, in one of the ballets (Sleeping Beauty maybe) there is a pas de deux of a male & female cat wearing masks and preening/pawing like real cats - I can still hear the music in my mind (Tchaikovsky?) it was such a cute dance

Yes Phil there have been quite a few cat face brooches, I also have one by Warner but it is a smallish pin that doesn't photograph too large so I've been waiting to combo it with other pins. Thank you for your wonderful comment & thinking this the best cat face design :)
