That's one stunning wolf! So glassy grey, wow!
I adore wolves as creatures anyway, very formidable but beautiful. The grey tone of the glass is beautiful, gives him an almost Artic Wolf sort of feel too.

Thanks Lauren for your delightful compliments for this wolf, I was so glad to find a glass animal I've never posted before to show you, esp one from the realistic Swedish mother-child series (you know I have alot of those, think there are only a couple left to get). It's nice that it was made in its true grey color instead of a fantasy color - in profile I think it resembles a German Shepherd dog. Yes wolves are very beautiful & are certainly formidable esp when they travel in packs, scary! The arctic wolf is truly gorgeous & one there is called a cloud wolf, they are more the loner type perhaps due to the cold weather

I have never seen the wolf in this series before Jenni!
      Very cool.

I was so lucky to find this one Karen, a Swedish seller had it & it took awhile to arrive, but what a joy, I think it's my fave of the Hoff WWF Kosta animals. My first and maybe only glass wolf! As you know you run out of animal varieties because glassmakers all tend to follow each other in choice of popular animals. I've been lucky with Swedish glass lately & have a few more in nice colors, rare as it seems 90% of their animals are clear glass. Thank you my friend for your delightful words & so glad to see a beautiful new post from you!!

Adore it, love wolves, remind me of my lovely shepherds..

I totally agree Penny, the wolf and shepherd dog (also husky IMO) have many similarities & have got to be descendants! However nobody beats the shepherd in intelligence or sense of smell, they are such gifted dogs as I'm sure you know. Thank you for your wonderful comment & love
