I love the Japanese Cloisonne it is so much finer and intricate than the Chinese version. It normally is very expensive here but I found these at a shop having a sale. If you look carefully at the red it is transparent and you can see what looks to be bamboo plants in the background. The metal work must be silver as it is in good condition as opposed to the chrome on the actual lighter (it comes out of the base) which has deteriorated and unfortunately the tobacco/cigarette container is missing it's lid.
