Thought you folks might like to see this.
Britain's smallest house is located in Conwy in Wales. It was built in the 16th century as a dwelling for fishermen and was occupied up until the 1900s. No one lives there today as it is purely a tourist attraction now. The house is literally just the bit you see in the photo that is painted red. It measures just 72 inches wide! There is one room downstairs and one room upstairs which is accessed by a staircase that is more like a ladder.
Even hobbits would find this one a bit of a tight fit.

Is that the privy behind the curtain? And was the stove usable for cooking? Looks like it would make a decent motel room.

Looking at the pictures, I thought it looked like the interior of a sail boat. (I lived aboard a couple of boats in my adventuresome past). Then I read the text that it was a dwelling for fishermen! I can bet that fishermen felt right “at home” there.

Hi Fort, There is no privy, they would have just used a chamber pot, washed out in the sea which is just outside. I think you could cook a small meal on the stove.
