Hi CW friends,
I am having a surgical procedure in a couple days so perhaps will be 'out of commission' for awhile (not long I hope). Hold a good thought for me please, and I'll be looking forward to checking out your wonderful posts ASAP :)
This sweet "4"H Hawaiian girl is from one of our trips to the Islands in the 90s, she is probably made of resin and greets you with a yellow plumeria lei

Jenni,since I retired at the end of April I have had more time to do things that in times past I could not do. One of them is getting on Collectors Weekly every morning to see the treasures that have been posted. You and your treasures are a shining light and I thank you. Monday morning when I signed on and I saw your posting God said to tell you that you are an awesome lady and he also said to call you by your name and not by Newfld. I said all that to say this: God knows you and cares for you. It is a humbling,exciting and profound thing to know that the creator of this earth and everything else that we can see,touch and behold knows you by name. God has this and he has you. Best wishes with your procedure- I always make a point and remember your posts every Friday morning so having a Friday morning without one is a little strange! She's such a cute little figurine, almost looks like a little fairy, or a Hawaiian version of one which is really cool!

Got to thank the awesome surgical team at Northwell Health here on Long Island for magnificent care and a successful outcome - when you have general anesthesia you just never know, and it feels so great to be back in the world

Hope the surgery all went well Jenni!! I had extensive foot surgery back in April. I have two new screws in my right foot, but all went well.
Rob & Scott, thanks guys I'm alot better, surgery was successful just taking it easy at home. Op was for a lower body problem, recovery is up to 6 wks so have to be patient - not my strong suit! Being on CW should help me feel back to normal :)
Scott I'm very glad that your foot surgery went well also
Please take it easy Jenni. Mine healed within 5 weeks and I was finally off crutches and out of the boot. So nice to be walking pain free after several years.
Thanks Scott I'm trying to, and husband has been a big help doing heavy physical stuff as I'm not supposed to lift over 20 lbs. Hope by the 5 wk mark I do as well as you, something to aspire to!
