The rubber muzzle is what makes me think this is a Gund Bear. Plus I found a match online. This is a fairly large bear at 27" tall not counting the ears. I think the ears used to stand up but now they are floppy. He is also missing an eye and the flocking has rubbed off on most of the fabric. The bear is not soft and fluffy like a modern bear so it is likely filled with straw. I think that makes it 1950s or earlier. Looks 1950s to me.
In the last photo I have it with mu other two Gund bears. The seller put the pretty red ribbon on him to help get him adopted.
Beautiful Gund teddy he's in very good condition, and really nice to see him with his brothers
I'd put a black patch over his eye! And they could be the Gund pirates!!
