Here is a 7"W amber glass sauce boat with dolphin lid,originally made by the Flaccus Bros Company of Wheeling WV ca 1880-1900 in milk glass. This is a repro of their design, which appears in books Millard's Opaque Glass and Popular Glass Novelties by Congdon-Martin

That's a great fish/dolphin design there, I adore the swirly tail- looks like a mermaid tail or weeds/fins

I hope you all had a wonderful day that included much feasting & relaxing, and guys, maybe watching some sports on TV (I'm a little into the Fifa World Cup soccer myself, esp the top teams like Brazil & Portugal - stiff competitors for the USA to take on :)

Lauren lol, our Turkey Day may be now but we also enjoy turkey at Christmas and right through to Easter - and myself & husband, we prefer turkey burgers (made from ground turkey) to hamburgers & eat those all yr round, much healthier & lower calorie than beef. I'm really happy you liked this amber dolphin boat, it's a fancy "old timey" design with the swirls and tail, yes very like a mermaid. Fabulous comment as always thank you

Pascale thank you for the sweet Thanksgiving wishes, we had a nice quiet day just self & husband, I can't really cook big meals yet so we got delicious takeout turkey meals from a restaurant nearby, and watched the Fifa World Cup on TV :) Thank you my friend for the love for this amber dolphin & my other posts this wk it really means alot to me

I know I posted on this nights ago, and it was done well after dark and so it did not catch on this site. This piece is wonderful in that colour and is one of my two fave 2's. Those golden brown tones are superb !~
