A pair of vintage bookends found at an estate sale , stand 6 1/2 tall and about 5 wide with copper looking finish. marked FRANK FAITH Sculpture trade mark and pat. app'd for .... does anyone have any info please cant find any in my searches thanks Carl

These are beautiful!! You've probably done a lot of searching on the web for information on these and I have been searching a little bit myself. But, I'm coming up empty handed. I have a bookend encyclopedia, but unfortunately these are not listed. Wish I could help identify these beautiful bookends, but I can't seem to find any information either.

Ok this is bugging me..I asked Scott to look, because he has a lot of knowledge on this type of stuff. The fact he can't find anything makes them more intriguing.
With a name like Frank Faith, you would expect lots of hits searching.
Can you edit your post and replace one picture with a straight on picture of the dog. And the label bugs me..says Chicago, not Illinois..maybe trying to sound more important?
Trying to figure out what it says before Chicago..looks like to the left part of the label, it's folded over. Can you unfold that part and see if we can decipher the name of the town ..that may narrow it down. It may at least give us more letters to search with..
