For the last 6 years, my wife and I had a standing (yet civil) disagreement about a real Christmas Tree and an artificial tree. She decides the home decorations ... so, we had an artificial tree with plain white lights to brighten it up.
This year she surprised me .... sorta... by putting half of the Christmas tree on a nice table and decorated it with several strings of multi- colored lights. I really do like it, and I told her it looked great.
This leads me to the next statement:

I like the bottom liner. We always had something similar at the bottom of our Christmas trees as a kid.
