Here is a 5"H blue glass dog, presumably a poodle, sitting on its hind legs. Glass has sculpted "fur." By FM Konstglas of Ronneby Sweden, with older label and etch signed base ca the 1960s

That's such a cute little puppy, the way she's stretching up really gives her a bit of a long dachshund sort of look. Her owner is probably standing in the kitchen preparing her dog bowl etc. Hence the long pose! :D

Searching thank you for your marvelous praise for this pup, it is certainly in a begging pose! I love animals by Konstglas as they often show alot of personality. And adore the 'Swedish blue' glass also, such a pretty shade of blue
You know Lauren, it could very well be that it is stretching up awaiting its meal, cool observ! The long nose & body could also be a doxie, though looking closely the "fur" has a puffy texture which leans more toward poodle but who knows, creative license again with these glassmakers :) Thanks as ever for your fabulous comment
