    Here comes a neat Libanese passport from 1974, showing the man in a separate photo (as it is his passport) and then the gorgeous photo of the wife and five children. Such passports are true treasures nowadays.

    Passport rules in the past, e.g., allowed passports for wives only with the husband's permission. This was a common practice in many Western countries, and some changed that only in the late 1970s.
