Lots of wolfhound teeth to hold the stones well. I love their work in most cases as good as d&e, beautiful piece !~

I think this brooch is particularly well structured with the round stones in the contrasting blues and yes, terrific prongs! Weiss had a lot of diversity and I've got another in a more figural shape to post soon that I hope you'll like

What a little beauty! I love the effect of all those prongs -- they give an impression of great delicacy -- but at the same time, they're making sure those chatons aren't going to budge! Truly a very sweet brooch.
The 3 larger stones which have the many houndstooth prongs look almost like Rivoli stones and wonder if they are ?

Phil you are probably right about the rivoli stones, they have that pink & green cast and are a really nice touch with the blues
