These glass hashi are about 9" long and made of several thin rods of glass, twisted together. Called hashi in Japan, I have found art glass examples to be fairly rare, likely because they are probably pretty fragile. I have not tempted fate by trying to use the examples in my collection
After an early morning (middle of the night) disaster when I accidentally deleted my recent post on art glass hashioki (chopstick rests), I decided to back up and start with displaying some glass chopsticks before returning to art glass chopstick rests. I may also post some ceramic/porcelain chopstick rests if there is any interest. I have examples from several major kilns.
