Hey all! Look what I found a week after I found my lil guy a rocking chair!

I believe it's a "S Bent & Bros" rocking chair. The first ones I found said they were from the late 1800's, then today when I looked it up again, says from around 1960's.

Either way, Gramma and grandson are gonna be rockin & rollin together!!!
(Mine cost me a whoppin' 5 bucks and doesn't need any fixing)!

Enjoy! I know we will! ;)

They always use these rockers in horror films but super nice to see a rare small one also. The small one would fit up to a teenager in it. Wonderful find Sue, you rock !~

Do I see a music box on the rocker of the little chair?!!

WS, you certainly do! ;). It needs a little work but my grandson is young enough to wait till I finish another project first.

I've got to be careful not to get too many projects going! Trying to restore a cherry wood dresser. It's gonna be a tough project but worth it if I can restore it!

I'll show the rocking chair when it's done too! Thx for stopping by!!!

      yougottahavestuff ... That's funny!!!

I came back to see if anyone knows how I'd repair the lil music box. I've sprayed WD-40 and it does respond a little, but I need to get it open and I'm a bit afraid to do that as I can't find a video so far on you tube.

Thanks for any advice I can get, I really appreciate it!
