Bought from a yard sale in Ontario, Canada. We are in close proximity to CFB Petawawa so I'm *assuming* it came from there. Would love to know more about it!

Looks like an American Military Police helmet made its way up north! Having said that, I realize that Canadian Forces used the American M-1 pattern helmet for a long time, and also use the initials "MP" - so I have no certainty that this is not from a Canadian Military Police unit. Perhaps someone here knows how to tell US and Canadian M-1 style helmet liners apart?

Love the Helmet. Wore one like it when i was in Army in the 80's. Is it a liner or a Steel Pot? Would love to see the inside of it.

My husband's MP army helmet from says 504 MP with white and red barlike stripes, has a red dragon logo with green background and yellow square border, under which it says Duty Justice And Honor - was in Vietnam 66-67. Soldier's name inside. Hope this helps.
