This sign was made in many different "incarnations" In a few states,it was illegal to have a CLOCK on a beer sign,so these had a food scene or beer on the right hand panel. There are also MOVING and NON moving versions. When in doubt, pop the case off and take a look inside. There will be rollers and a mecahnism, etc inside.

My Dad & Uncles always drank this brand of beer. I have only seen one of the MOVING signs above & normally see the spilt screen type with a smaller moving screen. Was this sign made for the distributors promoting the beer or could anyone buy this sign in the past?? I do remember the water fall & really liked the screen moving very slowly. Of course if I would like to obtain/fine this sign, can you give me clue or round ball park figure of a good price to pay for one (know cost will vary on condition) ? Thanks in advance...

The sign was primarily made by the brewery, for their accounts,to promote their brand. But you could buy one at their gift shop in the brewery if you wanted to.I try to buy these signs for under 500.00,because of my ability in fixing whatever ails them,so I can make a little "beer money" for my time.I have seen them from 200 (basket cases) up to 1500 (ebay auctions where 2 people wanted them) My buddy in Seattle picked up a nice one for 475 this week.Be patient,be picky.
