This green Onyx handle vase was designed in June 1896, according to paper pattern PN I-6724. It can be found in a slightly different size on the 1900 patterns (II-500 and II-501). It is also shown on Plate 6 of the sales catalog "Fantasie-Artikel aus Farbenglas", circa 1897 (C 145). However, the green Onyx decor is not listed on pattern number I-6724. This shows again how helpful the paper patterns are, but that they cannot provide complete information.
The heigt of the vase is 10,5 cm (4 1/8in.).
Beautiful! Now, I would love for someone to find one of the animal head shaped rhyton vases!
Muzeum Šumavy (Böhmerwaldmuseum Bergreichenstein) has one on display.
