    got this for one dollar- it feels like a real painting - maybe a reproduction- but don't know what or who painted this .. it is old ......

      Hi! It is a reproduction. This is a famous image called "Profile of a Clown" by the French Expressionist/Fauvist painter Georges Rouault (1871-1958). The original is located in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston which bought it for $6500 in 1951. It was painted in the 1940's. It is one of a series of paintings that Rouault did on the theme of 'the clown'.
