French Bulle' Electromagnetic Wall Clock, 1923

This beautiful French Art Deco Bulle' wall clock is a masterpiece of case work. The carvings on the front of the clock to me are amazing. I also like the skyscraper motifs on the top and bottom of the case. The movement is time only, no striking the hour. The electromagnetic movement will run for two years on one "D" cell battery. The clock moves by means of the black magnet that is a the bottom of the movement. The pendulum is a battery driven coil, when powered moves by resistance, causing the pendulum to repel from one end to the other moving a pawl that advances the clock hands. The clock works beautifully.
