I've got a coke tray that I can't tell if it's an original, or not. Any advice would help. In the small red band it say coca cola co. 1934. The tray also has trade mark REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. in the C in coca. Thanks.

The markings on the lower part of the tray should say coca-cola co. 1934, american artworks, inc. coshocton o. made in the U.S.A.. The reproductions do not include this. This looks like a reproduction, but pictures can sometimes be misleading. If the markings I mentioned earlier are there, you have a real one. Let us know, but I am 99.9% sure it's not.

It's missing the american artworks, inc. Thanks for the info. Fortunately, I have a '39 tray with that writing.

The value of anything is what ever you can get out of it. Hope you didn't pay much for the tray, by now you know it's a repop. Your not the first person and you won't be the last to buy a fake. Good luck in the future on your next purchase.

Check the back of the tray..original 1934 has a black or very dark green back.
The reproduction in 1980's has either a white, ivory, light grey or red back.
