    It's good to be left something and you have no idea what they are.
    However, after some searching and 'correct wording' by my partner, found out these two pretty jugs were first designed in the 30's....This does not entice me into filling them up with a heady tipple but it does make me curious as to where they actually come from and how od they are. Silver plated, Italian design lids, and handles but i can't make out markings...mmmmm.

      These appear to be wine flagons that were designed to keep white wine cool with the use of an ice filled tube (which fits into the metal fitting).
      These were very popular in the 1960s and 1970s.
