The sign is close to 32-26 inches round. Its wooden and you can tell it is pretty old. The word "Coca Cola" is actually projected out by small metal pins. The bottom reads "Trade Mark REG. US.PAT.OFF. Has anyone every seen one of these? What is it worth?Age? When I purchased it the lady said her Grandfather got it from a guy who was a "Forman" over a Coca Cola company and it was hanging in his office.

The Yellow dot signifies that it's a Canadian version Coca-Cola sign, something like late ?40's - 50's? Pretty cool, I haven't seen one like it before. Value-wise, the signs manufactured for international markets typically bring less than U.S. equivalents. That baby will look nice hanging on your wall. Hope this helps.

the yellow dot usually tells you its a canadian button, but yours seems to be a us button with a yellow dot on it, which i find a little odd. i have never seen a us trade mark on a button with a yellow.

Right, usually one sees "Trade Mark Reg." on Canadian signs. Take a close look at this sign, the qualities of the trade mark info look different than the rest of the sign. Almost as if it was taped off and the rest of the sign around it repainted. I can't find the sign in Petretti's price guide, so it's a mystery. Maybe cckid can weigh in...

another thing i found a little odd is the blue writing. coca cola doesnt use blue in their signs so i think this sign maybe a fantasy/ custom made item. hard to put a value on that, its worth what ever someone is willing to pay maybe 100$, but just a guess hard to say with no idea of when the sign was made. these signs were popular in the 1950's and 1960's so it may have been made than, but the ones made then were either porcelain or tin not wood. its still a nice piece and a good converstation item, thanks for showing it.

I think that the font style and yellow dot (by the way, the yellow dot doesn't always signify a canadian coke piece) and the trade mark is out of the tail of the "C", it means that it is after 1941-42. But, I guess that this was made by kay displays, since they were the only manufacturer of wood coca cola advertising pieces. But truth is, I don't really know, that's my guess. If you could take a look at the back of the sign, there might be a stamp that says kay displays on it. If not, it maybe a made up piece, or just a mystery piece.

Oh and that's not blue writing. Must be the lighting. It's like a dirty white.
