I found these stunning bookends at a second hand junk store in Ohio. The body of the fish feels like a frosted glass and as you can see, they are transparent to the point where they look like they glow. The detail of the fish (the head and tail) is plastic and the base feels like either a heavy coated plaster or resin. To me, they look like a style from the victorian age.

I have been looking for something even remotely like this set to get an idea of the value, but I have been unsucessful. Has anyone seen anything like these?

Not Koi, stylized dolphins, I think.

Do you have pictures of the bottom? I would carefully look over the glass for any markings in the glass. They are really nice but curious of the age as if these are true early 20th century they will be quite valuable.

I just seen your entire description that they are not old. They are really pretty though. Great Find.
