A friend of mine's parents used to have one of these clocks. It's a wonderful childhood memory, and he's trying to find out who makes this clock and where - hopefully - he could find one for sale. Anyone have any information? I've spent hours searching the web and have had no luck. I found this picture on a web site talking about German anniversary clocks.

I have one like it, only mine has the brass balls on the pendelum instead of the people.

Do you know who the manufacturer is of your clock? He definitely wants one with the people..but maybe if I knew the manufacturer of your clock I could "dig deeper" on internet to see if I could find the one with the"people".

The maker or seller's trademark is on the dial, but I would need a larger photo to see it. If you can post a photo of the back of the clock showing all the lettering on the works, we should be able to tell who made it. The pendulum with the people is very unusual, 99% of them have brass balls.

This photo was on a website.....I don't have a clock to look at the dial...we're trying to find a clock like this to buy....My friend's parents were in the military; and they bought the clock while stationed in Germany....all my friend has left of the clock are two of the figurines that were on his mother's clock....

The logo looks like it may be Kern or Koma, 2 German makers of these clocks in the 1950s.

Thanks so much for the information. That sounds about the correct timing...I truly appreciate your help. My friend will be so thrilled to have this information!!!

The clock I have ,has Kern on the face, and on the back of the movement it has k.u.s-1v Germany-- no (o) jewels unadjusted. This is all I see on it. Hope it helps.

It looks like a Kundo made by Kieninger & Obergfell about 1951
