    supposed to be old--no markings on glass --on lid it has thin dividing lines 3 from the crown to the edge any help greatly appreciated

      i'm not positive but it looks to me like a piece of carnival glass.

      Yes it is carnival glass and it is highly sought by carnival glass and depression glass collectors.

      It is not worth a million dollars, than again what is right?; however, you could fetch a handsome amount if it is complete, no chips, and the right collector looking for that particular piece for their collection comes along.
