Would go on your schwinn bike on your tire. When you pulled the chain,as you were riding, the siren would rub on your tire and sound like the police sirens in the 6os. They were eventually banned.

Do they still make these? I had one on my bike when I was a kid, but I had to take it off because it was against the Law.
They did reproduce these for a couple years back in the maybe late 90s but I don't think they're being currently produced. This one looks like it's original. Does your box have a bar code? LOL...
Toolate2, great question. I will check for a bar code and get back. I didn't know that they came back in the 90s.
Toolate2, I found no bar code but it has a tag showing $2.77 ACE. I assuming ACE Hardware.
Oldie: I had one of the sirens for my bike back in the mid 1940s-am guessing just after WW2.
I had one off these in the early sixties, it sounded awesome!
The sound from the siren was just like the Philadelphia police cars. I believe that's why they became banned.
