1940s model cooler. $50 to $75 in this condition.
I just found a posting of another one . It was in really bad shape though and someone else said 35 to 50 for his ? Mine also has the wood piece that goes in the bottom to hold the sodas up off the ice. ?
Nice one! I love how they hyphenated certain words back then. Like TO-DAY, and in this case PIC-NIC. Words we just don't think of spelling like that today. I'm sure there's a reason.
I would like to find out more about this cooler. any suggestions on where to go ? I'm new at this :( Like the actual year that it was produced, etc .
I have this same cooler in similar condition. These decals are on both sides and one of mine is almost perfect, the other has a rust spot on the bottom. Can we find out who manufactured this and what years? My husband remembers it already in the attic by 1958 or so, where it remained until I brought it down and have searched several times to no avail. How can such a rare one be worth less than the reproduction ones with just Coca Cola on them??
Is there a way on here to get a person's attention. Like signaholic. Where did he get this value? We have looked everywhere and have not found a manufacturer name.
The only one on ebay right now has a completely ruined decal with something over top and they want $155.00 for it.
