    This purse belonged to a prominent Atlanta area socialite, circa 1900. Her name is engraved on the handle on one side. Clasps have saphires. Jeweler verified authenticity of 14k gold and sapphires and weighed the purse at 145 grams. Measures approximately 6" by 6", excluding chain. Like new. No defects visible.
    Can anyone identify the maker? Stamped with what looks like "D14K". See photos.

      Probably seven years too late..but I had a very similar purse stolen from my home. Mine was inscribed "Rosa Barnet Lemle" .....
