I have another jar I can't find. I bought it at an estate sale. It is 12" tall and 6" in diameter at the widest point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

About the L in an oval mark on the bottom: W.J.Latchford Glass Company, Los Angeles, CA (1925-1938); this became the Latchford-Marble Glass Company (1938-1956); and then, Latchford Glass Company (1957-c.1989). Latchford eventually became part of Anchor Glass. Mark was first used approximately 1925, although during the "Latchford-Marble" era, the mark "LM in an oval" was used instead. Thanks again. Now I know why I could not find a lid to fit. You are "The Bottle Lady" I have a tiny bottle, round ,2" tall marked J.A. Folgers & co. San Francisco. It has a small chip on bottom of top flange. Any value? I could put up a picture.
Folgers began as a "coffee, tea, and spice" business under this name in 1866 or 1867 and went on to become one of the most familiar names in the coffee business which continues to the present.
If it is really only 2" tall, it must be a sample - without pix I can't say the era (hopefully it is much older than your other bottles, a modern one would not have nearly as much value) - check out these links - no Folgers bottles on ebay right now - no idea of pricing.

This is for MsDowAntiques. You identified the jar at the top of the page as a packers jar made by W.J. Latchford Glass company. If I wanted to find a lid to fit this jar, where would I go? I would appreciate any suggestions
