Don't know where this was taken, but he was young so possibly around WW2, any help with the planes here?

    I cannot see the details very well. They may be two seat trainers.

    The photo looks like pre- war or very early WW2.

    Hello filmnet,

    You do have a lot of interesting posts. I'll have to come back and give them a closer look soon.

    The plane on the left, and probably the others too, is a Fairchild PT-19. It is more than likely the same one as in your recent post with the log book entries.

    Great picture.
