Once we put up one of our Aluminum Trees, our Japanese Bobtail Cat "Maxx" began to slap at the ornaments.
To me, it looks as though he is saying "I'll place this one right here.... Ah! Purrfect!"
I love Santa Christmas decorations especially. In the second picture note the weird Santa on the left with his arm out. We got him on Craig's List, he was a store display, but he's one of the weirdest looking Santa Claus' of all time. The third pic features our 6ft Santa, again, got him off Craig;s list. His face was boring, almost white, no rosy cheeks and nor expression in his beady eyes. So I painted him to be looking as though he is amazed by something. LOL And in picture #3, who could not love the "Santa Claus is Coming To Town" 45 record? My husband has had it since childhood.
I wonder if your store Santas began life as regular store manikins and were dressed up for the occasion?

Thank you scandinavian_pieces. HE had one blue eye and one green eye. Quite the character!
Peteeone- I am sure they weren't manikins, only because the short one, has such an odd body, big head, short tiny little legs and feet and the tall one seems to be made with wood and wires, he is six feet tall and his feet are huge and the heavy base that keeps him from falling, but he must have been some kind of window display.
