    This is the mark on the bottom of the Decanter we bought last Saturday. Any clue as to the mark? The micro digital camera picture had to be taken as two pictures.

    Could this be some form of Czechoslovakia?

    You all must be getting tired of my questions.

      I think you'll find that this mark reads : "Tchecoslovaquie".
      There is an acute accent (aigu) over the first 'e'.
      That is the French version of the export mark used on pieces meant for the French market rather than the English or German speaking markets.
