THis came from an old collectors home. I was wandering if anyone knew the name of the pattern and who made it. It is really old. I think maybe from the victorian era. But I am not sure. Excellent condition and about 9" tall. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you , Stacey in North Carolina

Wow, two wonderful and very rare pieces you have. An open optic controlled bubble. I have never seen these two patterns that you have displayed but you make me covet...LOL. I have seen hundreds of thousands of pieces of American art glass and never these two patterns. Aside from the two in your home, they must all be in museums with pictures in books only. Thanks for sharing. I love this sight and the fact I get to see so many wonderful pretties. I would say 1880-1900. Boy, you sure have made my day. Time to break out all my glass books.

Thank you for the comments. I to have seen alot of glass. I grew up in my Grandad's auction house and have continued a life of antiques and collectibles for a living. And in recent years with a drop in the economy glass has really suffered a hit. And it has been a while since apiece of glass even got me excited but I thought these 2 pieces were really special. Also I am not sure if your noticed but the pink vase the inside is a blue green color. It is not your normal pink on white cased glass. It is really beautiful. I hope someone can identify these. Thanks again, Stacey
