Hey there, first time on here. Was just curious about this Pocket Watch my father and I have had for 15 years. I literally cannot find anything about the watch or it's potential value. I found some historical info about D.E Black but its mostly about buildings and that he was a jeweler. All I can find about the name on the face is D.E. Black, Calgary, Canada and a date of 1912 on the watch. Also has some initials on the back as well. Believe it or not it still winds and works. Also there is a series of numbers (serial number?) engraved on the inside case as well. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Guys!!

Hey thanks for the response. I opened the back and I found the name Cashier A.W.C Co. Gold Filled 796932.

This looks like a private label Waltham, I could be mistaken, not an expert but have researched others extensively online. Open the back and check the "movement" for a serial number/maker, then either repost the serial/maker or google it. The marks on the case are for the case only and do not represent the movement maker.

Okay so I did open the cover that shows the movement and it stated the following:
D.E. Black Calgary, Canada 15 jewels S 3058153 and 796932 and then there were a series of numbers that I can barely read. So is this a D.E Black made pocket watch with a Cashier American Watch Company case?

I would like to see a picture of the movement. D.E.Black used several movements in their watches, it is possible to have an Omega or Longines movement.

Made By Waltham For D.E. Black. Go Online Or look at a Cooksey Shugert Book & It will tell you when it was made & How many in its Production.
