    Bought this at a yard sale yesterday. It has a slender glass chimney and cherry red bottom with what looks like a brand new wick. Can anyone tell me what it is and how old?

      I don't know much about these, but usually, some info is available if there is a name or marking on the wick wheel. Does it say anything or have a mark on it?

      I can tell you that it is not an anitque oil lamp . I know because I own two of these . Mine were bought at Wal - Mart when they first came into our town .
