I have acquired a box of hundreds of WW II V-Mail letters. They are dated from 1941 thru 1945.
Lots of interesting stuff here.

Thank you Manikin, Lostinspace, ThriftyGypsy, scottvez, & Chrisnp. You are correct, a lot of great reading, however, the print is so small on the V-Mail that I have to use a magnifying glass, my eyes are not as good as they used to be.

I know that feeling packrat ! I just had to use a magnifier to call in number for a prescription off the bottle ! Are they making print smaller on medicine bottles it can't be my eyes LOL .

nice lot! probably full of amazing stories, and heartbreaking ones as well. Where did you find this lot? Something like this should be preserved, as these stories will be lost for ever when the war vets die....

Packrat: I remember some of the letters we received during WW2-took a long time getting here and some of them had a lot of the wording blacked out.Wished we had saved them-Thanks for sharing your pick with us-if you get a chance please share some of the letters.
