Hello. This is a G9244854 Singer Sewing Machine which I believe was made in 1922 (?). It is in pristine condition and it still works but needs a new belt. I have the original owner's manual as well. I am not posting this for sale here but I'm wondering if anyone knows how much it is worth or where I might do some research to find out more about it's value. Thanks so much!

It's a lovely model 66-1 Red Eye - has rear attaching accessories? Appears to be in good condition with manual and extras, they're not terribly valuable depends where you live and how much someone wants it. It is the less common model to the later side attaching accessory type, but there were still plenty of them made. The machine was part of a batch of 50,000 identical machines commissioned on Feb 28 1922. It's not going to need to be insured separately :) If you search Redeye 66 on eBay you will get an idea of value.

These machines do not always need a bobbin winder tyre. Have a close look at the way it is set up in that area - the bobbin winder may run against the treadle belt. :)
A 7 drawer emobssed cabinet in excellent condition is always going to get a higher price than the very basic 5 drawer pictured, but it's still a lovely machine.

I will post a pic of my Redeye bobbin winder which runs off the belt.

and yes, I can see that on the pictured machine, it does have a bobbin tyre and it is perished. I wasn't referring to this particular machine.
