This is another flea market find from my 9 year old from last summer. He really enjoys finding older toys. It is stamped 1977

That a model of the English Electric Lightning, the highest performing aircraft in it's day. It had two afterburning engines, placed one above the other, rather than side-by-side like most twin engined aircraft.
