This was my Grandfather's From the mid 1950's. Both pieces are in relatively good shape. I was lucky to find the hat as it had been stuffed in a box in a farm building that I was preparing to demolish.

Very nice . Was it a military left over thing that every profession wore a visor cap back in the day ? Good Humor men, Gas station attendants , Milkmen, Mailmen, Bus and Taxi drivers, Policemen........ah the good old days ! A baseball cap just does not give the same vibe of importance as the visor cap did ! It commanded respect .
Does everything have to be cheap ? When and why did we settle for less ? Greed ?
